Fresh Application (16 YEAR OLDS)

• Original Birth Certificate
• Copies of parents’ identities (If one of the parents is a Motswana, Omang copy is required.  If one of the parents is a foreigner, a copy of a passport is needed)
• 1 recent BLACK & WHITE passport sized photograph
• There is no payment required from a 16 year old if they apply within 30 days after turning 16
• A penalty fee of late application is charged at a later stage upon collection of Omang.

Renewals

• The old Omang Card
• 1 recent BLACK AND WHITE passport sized photograph
• Police report if stolen and if lost or damaged an affidavit to that effect
